Harvest started last week Sept 18th, but has been delayed with rain. The first big rush of harvest will likely start this weekend. Please contact the Dresden office @ 519-683-4413 or the Rutherford office at 519-692-3919 to verify hours of operation. Hours will vary based on how many farmers are operating and available staff. We look forward to seeing you, and hope you have a safe and successful harvest.

We would also like to add, make sure you check wagons that were used for seed and clean them well. Delivering grain to an elevator with treated seed in it, will cause a lot of problems for you and your insurance company.
If you are an IP soybean grower for Tofu, or a certified seed grower and receive premiums from Jackson Seed Service for growing the soybeans you may be able to insure your premium. This has been available for a couple years and likely not utilized by very many producers. We encourage you to visit the following two Agricorp website links and speak with an adjuster. We believe you need to sign up and add the pedigreed seed coverage by May 10th. The other deadlines are the same as conventional soybean coverage.

The list of eligible Silverline Tofu varieties is incorrect, S23-T5 is missing from the list. Agricorp has been notified, and it should be available for insurance. All the New Age varieties are listed as eligible for IP growers.
NK Seeds has made the decision to distribute the traited beans in a similar manner to the Silverline IP soybeans. An announcement made Feb 4, 2025 can be found at the link below.
